I always feel good when I can get an album design done ahead of schedule, and even more so when it comes together so well as a finished product. Enjoy the preview!

The first look...

With the weddings I photograph I do a "first look" with the bride & groom.

This is where they get a moment to see each other, away from everyone else, for the first time on their wedding day. My clients appreciate it because it helps the day go very smooth and we aren't as rushed after the ceremony. I love it because it is a sweet moment to capture and the portraits that are right after the first look are almost always my favorite from the day.

Here is an example of what a first look, looks like. 

We find a quiet place, the groom faces the camera and the bride comes up from behind.

After I give them a moment I take a few photographs of them in the same spot. They are both beaming and excited. That's the best part of the first look.

We stepped into Newton's Paradise Cafe in Waterloo to warm up a little bit, & grabbed a few fun images through the windows. Thank you Turek family for being game to try anything! Oh, don't forget to check out the little slide show at the end - Miss Molly, you crack me up every time!
